Proctor parents, also referred to as professional parents, are single individuals or married couples who provide care to children placed in their home. Proctor parents provide a home family environment, nutritious meals, companionship, guidance and physical, social, and emotional care. Proctor care may be short term or for several years depending upon the needs of the child and his/her family.z
The CBTS, Inc. Intensive Supervision program constitutes one-on-one supervision provided by trained paraprofessionals (Specialists) for youth generally living in proctor homes, their family home or independent living.
CBTS, Inc. provides clinical services under licensed practitioners to youth in state’s custody. Clinical services include: mental health and substance abuse assessments, individual, family and group therapy, treatment planning, intra-interagency staffing and collaboration, program development and clinical supervision.
